Dr. Mishra was recently featured on Hospital News for her work during the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her team developed the mathematical model to predict the potential number of COVID-19 patients admitted at the Unity Health Toronto’s two care sites, St. Joseph’s Health Center and St. Michael’s Hospital. The projections from the first iteration of the mathematical model allowed the two care cites to respond and plan patient flow during the first wave of COVID-19. Check out the full article here.
