Undergraduate Student Opportunities
We have one work-study opportunity for an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in 2 FCE (full course equivalents) at the University of Toronto during the fall of 2022. Please see the job description, required qualifications and application process here. Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted. Selected candidates will be contacted by September 20, 2022.

Graduate Student Opportunities
Sharmistha is interested in supervising, co-supervising, or providing support via advisory committees at the graduate level – specifically MSc (thesis-based) students and PhD students. Sharmistha’s primary graduate school appointments are with the Institute of Medical Sciences and the Institute of Health Policy, Management, and Evaluation. Students with technical aptitude and strong interest in quantitative methods, observational epidemiology, causal inference, and statistical and mathematical modeling (esp transmission modeling) are encouraged to check out our scope of work and the lab. For projects related to field work and/or primary data collection, we have several close collaborators that offer opportunities for field work – and we would be happy to co-supervise such projects.

Post-Doctoral Fellow Opportunities
If you are about to complete your PhD and our scope of work is of interest, do reach out – Sharmistha is happy to chat to see if our team and environment could help your career development and grow your skills. At this time, we do not have specific fellowship positions available (we will post such positions as soon as opportunities become available). However, we are happy to discuss opportunities via independently-funded fellowships, including the CTN Fellowship program and the CIHR fellowship program.
