Christine Wang (Junior Epidemiologist)
Christine joined the lab in the summer of 2019 as a Keenan Research summer student and is currently working with the team as a junior epidemiologist via the University of Toronto work-study program. She is currently a 2nd year medical student at the University of Toronto and is interested in the applications of mathematical modeling and computer science in healthcare. She is working on a systematic review of mathematical models of antibiotic resistant organisms in healthcare settings as well as helping to develop and validate natural language models to extract data from unstructured clinical data at the St. Michael’s Hospital tuberculosis clinic.
