Christine Wang
Christine worked with the lab in the summer of 2019 as a Keenan Research summer student, and then as a junior epidemiologist via the University of Toronto work-study program. During this time, she was a medical student at the University of Toronto and is now in residency. Her project involved working with Dr. Matthew Muller and our team, on a systematic review of mathematical models of antibiotic-resistant organisms in healthcare settings. In addition, Christina helped develop and validate natural language models to extract data from unstructured clinical data at the St. Michael’s Hospital tuberculosis clinic and co-authored the database paper from this work.
