Linwei Wang, Senior Data Scientist–Epidemiologist at MAP and a core member of our Mishra Lab received the 2024 MAP Peer Mentor Award on April 17, 2024. This award recognizes individuals who go above and beyond to help colleagues learn, feel valued, and succeed—values that Linwei exemplifies every day.
Within our lab, Linwei is known as a generous, intentional, and deeply thoughtful mentor. Over the past six years, she has supported and elevated the work of countless team members through methodological guidance, manuscript feedback, and day-to-day collaboration.
Her mentorship has shaped not only the success of individual projects but also the collaborative, supportive, and inclusive culture of our lab. As her nominators shared, Linwei “meets people where they are,” empowers others to do their best work, and leads with care, clarity, and humility.
